Psychotherapy, commonly known as talk therapy or counselling, focuses on addressing and overcoming psychological difficulties, emotional challenges, and behavioural issues. Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment approach where a trained professional works with  clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours, gain insight into client experiences, and may develop coping strategies and skills ti manage challenges more effectively.

Many Educational programs require students to complete practical experience working with clients as a final component of completing their graduate level degree. The rationale in deciding to expand into becoming a teaching practice by developing a Student Intern program is grounded in one of our core values which is exposure, providing specialized training, and an opportunity to put into action their many years of education. This opportunity contributes to providing competent care to clients.

In an effort to make therapeutic and counselling services more affordable, we offer limited time-slots at a reduced rate.

Due to the high demand for reduced rates, they are offered on a first come first serve basis. 

​

Reduced rates for sessions are offered based on an honour system. This means we will not be requesting any financial information to confirm need.
