Sashauna Rhoden

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am passionate about working with individuals, youth and families. I am committed to cultivating a culturally sensitive, and inclusive environment where you can find healing, fulfillment, and success in your life.

I believe we encounter both predictable and unpredictable challenges precipitated by life cycle events that can have positive and negative effects on us and, sometimes require additional support and guidance in uncovering the resources and skills to move beyond their difficulties and explore the uncomfortable to achieve their desired growth and healing.

I work from a person-centered, trauma-informed and, anti-oppressive approach. I alter my approach to meet each individual client’s experiences, goals, and needs. I believe emotions are strongly linked to identity and often play a role on current struggles and, in understanding them, we can better identify root cause or contributors, of decisions in peoples life’s.

I aspire to create a safe space for clients to feel safe, heard and supported while offering them the freedom to share as much, or as little, as they wish. The principle of everything I do stems from the idea that “ healing begins with hope”. That small acts done with hope will begin the Journey to healing. My mission is to build strength and resilience.
