BACKGROUND &
AREAS OF INTEREST

I specialize in working with individuals and couples using a client-centred, emotionally-focused, and compassionate approach.

Therapy is an opportunity that allows us to work through our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, both within ourselves and within the context of relationships. Life is often complex and we can become overwhelmed, scared, or burnt out, and not know where to start.

My aim is in supporting and guiding you as you gain perspective and insight into yourself, your partner, family, and others. Being able to make sense of ourselves and others can be both empowering and healing, and is often the change we are seeking. Many of us don’t realize that we can be our own ‘change agent’. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you to help you discover, or rediscover, yourself including your limiting beliefs, needs, desires, strengths and abilities. Through increased awareness and understanding of self and others, we are often able to improve our relationships, better manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and express our emotions in a safe, effective manner.
